Much as I an enthusiastic about the promise of the Internet of Things (IoT), I am extremely wary of the dangers that it can foster.  The IoT suffers from the same unsolved vulnerabilities of the current internet:  security, privacy, identity, legality.  But because of the increase in the number of endpoints (currently forecast to be in the billions), the number of attack vectors will increase by equivalent orders of magnitude.
